Time Reveals All Bloom — The Long Game, a Backyard Brew story by R.Solace (Ryan Khalil)

My boys,

There's a phrase people often say—

"Time heals all wounds."

And while I understand it…

I've come to realize…

Time does more than heal.

Time reveals.

So I added something of my own:

"Time heals all wounds… Time also reveals all blooms."

Because if you are patient enough…

Time does something extraordinary—

It exposes truth.

Not always quickly.

Not always comfortably.

But eventually…

Truth has a way of blooming.

I've learned that when we are wounded… Heartbroken… Confused… Betrayed… Disappointed…

We often crave immediate understanding.

We want answers now.

Why did this happen? Why did they do this? Why did I lose this? Why did this fall apart?

And because pain is loud… We often mistake urgency for clarity.

But pain, especially fresh pain… Can distort.

It can magnify emotion… While minimizing perspective.

That is why patience matters so much.

Because time has a strange and beautiful way of separating emotional fog… From actual reality.

Time lets patterns emerge.

Time reveals intentions.

Time exposes character.

Time shows whether something was a blessing… Or a lesson.

Sometimes what broke your heart… Actually saved your life.

But you do not always know that immediately.

Sometimes what felt like loss… Was redirection.

Sometimes what looked ugly in one season… Was simply unfinished.

This is why I say—

Be careful what you conclude too early.

Because premature judgment often robs people of deeper wisdom.

I've learned that hindsight is one of life's greatest teachers.

When enough time passes…

You start seeing:

"Oh… That is why."

"That person was showing me who they were."

"That failure was preparing me."

"That delay protected me."

"That wound taught me."

My boys…

Patience is not passive.

Patience is strategic trust.

It is the willingness to let reality unfold before forcing false conclusions.

Think about nature—

A seed underground can look like death… To someone impatient.

But the patient understand—

Roots often form before blooms.

And this is true in life too.

Some truths need seasons.

Some lessons need winters.

Some answers require distance.

This is where many people sabotage themselves—

They react too early.

They burn bridges too fast. Judge too quickly. Quit too soon. Despair too deeply.

Because they have not yet allowed time to reveal the full picture.

I've come to realize—

Time is one of the greatest filters in existence.

It filters fake from real.

Temporary from lasting.

Impulse from wisdom.

Performance from character.

Noise from signal.

You do not always need to force revelation.

Sometimes…

You simply need to observe longer.

Time will show you who respects you.

Time will show you what habits truly serve you.

Time will show you whether your fears were valid… Or exaggerated.

Time will show you whether your pain made you bitter… Or wiser.

And perhaps most importantly—

Time will show you who you are becoming.

That is why patience is so powerful.

Because patience creates space for truth to mature.

But let me be clear—

Patience does not mean avoidance.

It does not mean refusing action.

It means not allowing emotional immediacy to define permanent belief.

Observe. Adjust. Reflect.

But do not rush identity around temporary storms.

I've learned that some of the most beautiful blooms in life… Are only recognizable because I waited long enough to see them.

Healing bloomed. Wisdom bloomed. Discernment bloomed. Strength bloomed.

Even wounds…

Can become gardens… If tended properly.

So if you are hurting… Confused… Waiting…

Do not assume the current chapter is the final meaning.

You may simply be too close to the pain to see the bloom.

My boys…

Give time time.

Let it teach.

Let it filter.

Let it reveal.

Because not everything that hurts is harm…

And not everything delayed is denial.

Some things…

Need time to bloom.

And when they do…

You may finally understand—

The wound was real…

But so was the wisdom it grew.

Time heals all wounds.

Time also reveals all blooms.

I love you.

— Baba
