Do not build your life upon feelings.

Build it upon convictions.

Feelings visit.

Convictions stay.

There will be mornings when you are tired.

Days when no one notices.

Weeks when progress feels invisible.

Keep showing up.

The oak tree does not grow because someone is watching.

It grows because that is what it was created to do.

So were you.

I have learned that the greatest compliment a gentleman can receive is not,

"He is talented."

Or,

"He is successful."

It is,

"You can always count on him."

Those words cannot be purchased.

They cannot be inherited.

They must be earned.
